Coaches & Team Managers

Be a leader within the club

Coach

Every season, we seek enthusiastic coaches who are passionate about creating positive football experiences for young players.

Coaching at our club is about more than just winning games — it’s about developing confident, skilled players in a supportive, participant-centred environment that reflects the AFL’s modern coaching approach.

Through the AFL Learn Coach Accreditation Framework, coaches are supported with free, flexible, nationally recognised education. With a mix of online modules, face-to-face workshops and on-the-job learning, coaches can tailor their development to suit their role and experience.

Whether you’re new to coaching or looking to progress your accreditation, Fremantle City Dockers JFC provides the support and pathway to help you grow as a leader and make a lasting impact. Learn more.

Team Manager

Create positive change, lead from behind the scenes, and build valuable leadership and management skills along the way.

No experience is required—just enthusiasm, organisation and a willingness to get involved. We’ll support you with clear pathways, guidance and resources to help you succeed in the role.

Each season, we seek reliable Team Managers to work closely with the Coach of each team to ensure each team is prepared each week.

From managing team administration and player registrations to coordinating equipment and game day requirements such as team sheets, goal kickers and club voting, this role is essential to helping the team run smoothly and focus on performing their best.
